Choose the right place for your skip. Gardens are okay, but it’s best not to place the skip on soft ground. A driveway or garden area with a solid floor is a better location. If you’re not sure about access or where to place your skip, just get in touch.
We offer a range of skip sizes, so you’ll never have to pay for more space than you need. It can be hard to imagine how much waste each skip size holds, so to make it easier, think about how many bin bags of rubbish you need to clear.

Fill it until it’s level with the top of the skip. Don’t pile rubbish over the top as we won’t be able to load it onto the truck and we’ll have to charge you for a wasted journey.
Yes, as long as there’s access for our delivery vehicle. But beware – skips are very heavy and may damage your lawn if placed on the grass. Our truck will also need access to the resting spot, which could also harm your lawn.
Yes, providing it doesn’t violate any road/traffic rules e.g. double yellow lines. You can’t block a public footpath, so there must be ample space on the road to place the skip without it being intrusive to road users.
If you want your skip dropped off on the road, we’ll need to arrange a permit with your local council for their fee.

The Environment Agency’s Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Regulation means we can no longer accept upholstered furniture in our skips. Upholstered furniture often contains POPs and must now be handled separately from all other waste. This includes (but is not limited to):

We take our environmental responsibilities extremely seriously and go above and beyond to protect the planet. Our zero waste to landfill policy means we promise to recycle or repurpose as much of the waste that goes into our skips as possible.
Your skip will go to one of our recycling facilities where all the recyclable materials will be separated and sent to a specialist plant for further processing. Anything left over will go to an energy recovery plant where it can be used to generate green electricity.
It depends on the size of skip you need, what type of waste you’re going to put in it, and where it will be placed. Panda skip hire prices start from as little as £190 including VAT. Click the links to tailor your skip requirements and get an instant price. Remember, skips left on the road will need a council permit. The council will need at least 7 days’ notice to process the permit before the skip delivery date. On average, council charge £75 + VAT per permit.
